Procedural Generation

Build runtime procedural content with modular action sets for maps, rooms, sprites, strings, and tilemap post-processing.

Note

"Procedural" in PlayMaker 2 refers to classic procedural generation, not generative AI. These rule-based and seed-based techniques have been used in games for decades. Examples range from early games like Elite and Rogue to modern games like Minecraft and Spelunky. They create variation, layouts, spawning, and systems from authored logic.

Sample Scenes

Import Procedural Generation Sample Scenes from the Addons Browser for end-to-end examples.
